Installation on Vaulted Ceiling

SKANDINAVIA FIXERA Wood Slat Dividers can be installed on vaulted/sloped ceilings.

We custom make the ceiling bracket to match the slope of your vaulted ceiling.

You will probably need extensions if your ceiling height is more than 9ft. See Extensions.

All installation steps are the same as FIXERA system.

Please see below animation on how the slats are fixed on the ceiling.

Installation on Custom Ceiling Bracket

This short animation shows the process of installing SKANDINAVIA Wood Slat Dividers on a Vaulted/Sloped/Slanted ceiling.

The Ceiling bracket is custom made to match your ceiling.

Sloped Ceiling Measurement Jig

Measuring the height of the ceiling for sloped ceiling could be frustrating since the height is different along the ceiling. You need to find either the highest point or lowest point where the slat is going to touch the ceiling.

We will include a 3D printed jig (custom made to your ceiling slope) in your order free of charge. You will find the highest and lowest point of the ceiling where the slat is going to be installed by placing this jig on the ceiling bracket. Alternatively, you can measure distance from the floor to the bottom of the jig, and add the hight of the jig to get the required length of the slat.

Calculating the Slope of Your Ceiling

We can calculate the slope of your ceiling (α) if you provide us with the height of the ceiling (h1 and h2) at 2 ends of the divider you want to build (p1 and p2), and the distance between those two points (d)
