Shipping & Delivery
Where we ship
We ship to all continental US states and across Canada. There is no sales tax on US
orders, and we pay all customs and brokerage fees.
What it costs
$400 flat rate per order for slats, to anywhere in the USA or Canada.
This covers shipping, handling, customs and brokerage — there is nothing further to pay
on delivery. Samples ship free.
How it arrives
- Slats ship on wooden pallets, carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit.
- Delivery is by common carrier (LTL freight). The carrier will call you a couple of
days beforehand to arrange a delivery appointment. - Delivery is curbside, and you unload. Please have someone available
to offload the slats by hand. Each slat weighs around 15 lb, so they are easy to handle individually. - Tailgate service is not useful for pallets this long and adds roughly $100 — we do not recommend it.
- Production lead time is currently 2–3 weeks. Transit adds 7-10 business days.
US customers: customs identification
US Customs and Border Protection requires an identification number for formal import
entries. This can be a Business Tax ID, a Social Security Number, or a CBP-assigned
number. We will request this when your order is placed. See
CBP guidance.
We handle all customs and brokerage paperwork and pay the fees.
If your delivery is damaged
Inspect the pallet before signing the delivery receipt. If there is any damage, note it
on the receipt before the driver leaves — this is what makes a freight claim possible.
Photograph the damage and contact us at sales@primopanels.com within 3 days.
